盖盒以青玉为质，温润致密，颜色均匀，玉质亦为细腻，灯下透光观之，随着浮雕深浅不一，可感受其颜色之变化。其由盖及盒身组成，子母口，扣合严密，呈方形，底承矮足，形制厚重亦不乏秀美。盒盖饰以山水图案，题材为“举杯邀月”，但见远山霭霭，水波不兴，李白举杯邀月，意境清幽，具文人气息，构图疏朗有致，其雕工之细腻精湛、纹饰之富丽华美，与润美玉质、雕饰雅致的盖盒相得彰宜。盖盒具有实用功能，可作为香盒、茶叶盒，亦可作为百宝盒，一物多用，可赏可玩，为文房妙品。陈春波：苏州玉雕名家
