Description

长寿佛又称无量寿佛，为阿弥陀佛的报身，是西方极乐世界的教主，代表着寿命无尽，广受欢迎。此尊无量寿佛着菩萨装，头戴菩萨宝，严分别为宝冠、耳珰、项链、璎珞、臂钏、手镯等。造型五官端庄秀美，宽肩细腰，身姿端正挺拔。呈金刚跏趺坐姿，双手结禅定印托宝瓶，瓶口向四面搭落连珠式流苏。下承束腰式仰覆莲花座，莲花瓣排列规整，莲瓣饱满而秀丽。下身着贴体长裙覆至脚踝，裙身刻画繁复。此像体量华丽非凡，是西藏佛教艺术鼎盛时期的难得佳作。
