作者简介：潘玉良(1895-1977)，原名张玉良，江苏扬州人。自小双亲过世，十三岁时被卖到安徽青楼直到十七岁嫁给潘赞化为妻。-九一八年考进上海美专，一九二-年赴法国里昂关术学院，一九二三年考入巴黎国立美术学院，一九二六年又进罗马国力美术学院进修两年油画及雕塑。一九二九年应刘海栗之邀回国上二海美术专门学校西画系主任，又任软于南京中央大学及新华艺专。一生充满传奇色彩的潘玉良足民初女性接受新美术教育成为画家的民初女性。一九三八年回法定居， 其后叫四十年常参展于巴黎独立沙龙并多次参加英、法、德、日及瑞士等国际展。一九七七午逝世于巴黎。法国赛努奇博物馆、巴黎市博物馆、巴黎现代美术馆，台北市市美术馆、中国美术馆均有收藏其品。
