筒瓶在晚明清初甚为流行，其形似大象腿部，又称“象腿瓶”。本品较常规尺寸略小，撇口，束颈，溜肩，长腹直筒，细砂底，胎体厚重，造型秀丽可人。瓶内外皆施白釉，釉质匀净泛青，颈部绘一周折枝花卉纹，腹部以花鸟纹为主题纹饰，一侧绘瑞鸟停驻于一枝苇杆之上，寓意“一枝独秀”，另侧绘一飞舞瑞鸟，双翅舒展，体态优雅，回首而望，其下莲池生气磅礴，夏意盎然。纹饰绘画秀气生动，花鸟可人，纹饰布局合理，构图疏朗大方，层次丰富，釉面洁净润泽，青花发色靓丽，浓淡相宜，笔触细腻，绘工高超，时代风格鲜明，为青花案头陈设佳品。 明末景德镇制瓷业到达新的高峰，海内外消费市场致使制瓷技术日益精进，胎釉原料配备优良，青花使用色彩鲜亮迷人的浙料，尤为后世追捧。
