设色纸本 镜框 尺寸：64×32cm 约1.8平尺 作者简介：张善孖(1882-1940)，名泽，以字行，号虎痴，四川内江人。系张大千之兄，少年从母学画，后师从李瑞清，1917年东渡日本，回国曾任上海美专教授。精鉴赏，富收藏，遍游名山大川。张善孖善画走兽、山水、花卉，他笔下之虎同前人画虎额颇有不同。前人画虎多为臆测，着重虎威的表现，至于虎的形体结构则不免有失。而张善孖笔下猛虎，既不失虎的威猛，又富有人性，含有一种温情，同时结构准确，华南虎的特征明显。据传说，华南虎不但少有伤人之举，而且行动起居避人而动。张善孖在自己园中饲养猛虎，以观察猛虎的一举一动。他对虎的习性非常了解，所以能深刻把握虎的动态，不失于流俗。
