作者简介：范金镛(1853-1914)，系名明榕，字福廷、号藕舫，一号沤舫，晚号沤道人。以所居曰心香室，故又号心香室主。江西新建乐化人。幼承庭训，习举子业，光绪六年(1880)科举进士，1904年2月谒选后，得云南曲靖首属宰甫，四月改调滇南。1910年调入北京，未受重用，后告老还乡。先生虽为官多年，但绘事不辍，且痴迷其中，此乃其不善为官的重要原因之一。
