作者简介：田世光（1916-1999），号公炜，祖籍山东乐陵。1937年毕业于北京京华美术学院，继入北京故宫博物院古物陈列所国画研究馆，随黄宾虹、于非闇研习中国工笔花鸟及山水，历任助教、讲师、研究员。1938年起在京华美术学院、国立北平艺术专科学校任教。1945年拜张大千为师，为入室弟子。1949年后在中央工艺美术学院任教，后为中央美术学院中国画系教授、中央文史馆馆员，中国美术家协会会员，中国画研究院院务委员，北京工笔重彩画会副会长、北京花鸟画会顾问。擅花鸟，兼及山水，精工笔，亦作写意。绘画继承传统法度，又不拘一格，造型严谨准确，设色讲究，画风清新秀雅。
