作者简介：霍春阳(b.1946)，生于河北清苑县，天津人，1969年毕业于天津美术学院并留校任教至今。历任天津美术学院中国画系主任，教授。中国艺术研究院博士研究生导师。霍春阳作品所形成的简淡冲和、虚静空灵之美，来自他对中国传统文化的深刻领悟和对自然之美的悉心体味。他告诉记者，中华民族的文化博大精深，中国画的传统哲学思想也非常丰富，这些都是当代画家汲取不尽的营养。作画不单是为了再现自然的原生态，而是要从道德、哲学的高度去关照自然，要带给观者更深层次的艺术启迪。
