据佛经上说太子成亲之后，净土饭王还是担心有朝一日，太子会离家出走，修行悟道。因而为太子建造重了三重宫殿，并派三千宫女日夜侍奉，为他演奏各种舞乐，希望他能沉迷于世间享乐之中，出家的初心。画面左侧正宗，悉达多太子头戴华丽宝冠，面容清秀，表情安详。身着交领服饰，外披宽大长袍，佩戴项链等饰物。双手自然置于两膝之上，以舒坐姿态坐于王座之上。前方有众多侍从，有为太子奉献珍宝的，有为太子奏乐舞蹈的。太子所居宫殿之外，还描绘释迦牟尼佛传中的其他弘法事迹，画面右侧从上至下，依次为仙人占仆、观察世间苦难、太子学艺、掷象成坑等，画面最上方则描绘了太子逾城的故事。整幅唐卡布局灵动，构图巧妙，设色鲜艳亮丽，人物勾勒细腻精致，展现出藏东地区晚期唐卡绘画的艺术特色，值得迎请珍藏。
