题识：己未嘉平月之吉，新安洪基丽生。

作者简介：洪畿(1887-?)，原名洪基，字庶安，又字丽生，号西庐。江西鹜源人，寄居上海。早年好游览，佐幕粤西，因得尽历桂林山水。游沪定居，遇秀水蒲华，独奇赏之，怂恿其具沪卖画，名噪一时，遂移居沪西，榜所居曰“西庐”，遂以署款。1911年12月以“讨论书画，保存国粹”为宗旨，联合上海部分书画家，书画鉴赏家联合发起组织“清漪馆书画会”，洪庶安任会长，胡郯卿任副会长。尤擅花卉，宗宋元院本，勾勒写生，渲染赋色诸法，出入恽南田、沈铨而尤近程瑶笙。妻陈南，字觉先，号三湘女子，工书法，颇文雅。
