白玉为长方形，四周以倭角装饰，正面雕刻整体呈弧形凸出。纹饰主题为兰花和蝴蝶，表达对美好生活的追求。雕刻手法上还保留了元式的高浮雕的特点，花卉和枝叶编织式的穿插，剃留层次丰富，花卉写实感强，蝴蝶飞于期间，构图显得颇为紧凑。明代流行的双面透雕手法减弱了元式风格中的厚实感，整体凸显了灵秀轻巧的艺术效果。此佩饰流传到清代后，由当时的工匠用铜包镶成为使用件，目前暂定为——茶针。
