作者简介：朱梅邨(1911-1993)，别名独眼半聋居士，江苏吴县人。擅长中国画、年画。幼年从师樊少云，13岁起从随舅父吴湖帆习画。就坊于苏州第二中学时因中耳炎改入私塾，从王康吉攻读古文6年。19岁即卖画为生。曾与叶恭绰、吴湖帆、张大千、冯超然等一起组织正社画会。三十年代故宫博物院举办赴伦敦画展，经吴湖帆推荐为保管员，得以观摩名画真迹。1949年后任上海中国画院画师，上海文史馆员，并于上海美术专科学校、同济大学等院校事美术辅导工作。1950年加入"新中国画研究会"，中国美术家协会会员。
