丁雄泉 1920年生于中国无锡。1946年移居香港，1952年远赴巴黎与COBRA集团的成员建立了密切的关系。1960年移民纽约，成为一名流行艺术家。1974年成为纽约市民，拥有美国国籍，常住纽约、巴黎。2001年开始定居荷兰阿姆斯特丹。1952至2002年，曾在法国、荷兰、加拿大、瑞典、西班牙、新加坡等国家，以及香港、台湾、上海地区举办个人画展100余次。
Ding Xiongquan was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province in 1920 and moved to Hong Kong in 1946. He traveled to Paris in 1952 and developed friendship with COBRA group. In 1960, Ding migrated to New York and become a POP artist. Since 2001, Ding had setted in Amsterdam. He held solo exhibitions all over the world between 1952 and 2002.
