度母为观世音菩萨的眼泪所幻化，其中绿度母因身体绿色而得名，为观音菩萨左眼所生，具有救渡众生出种种苦难之功能。此尊绿度母面相清秀，表情柔媚。头戴五叶冠，胸部刻画含蓄，配饰项链、手环和臂钏具足，右腿伸出，下踏小莲台。细腰束长裙，紧裹双腿。右手置膝施与愿印，左手当胸牵莲枝，两株莲绽放于双肩。下承双层仰覆束腰莲座，莲瓣圆扁，排列整齐。
