|说明：盒作长方形，正面设插门，内有四个抽屉。插门及抽屉用厚螺钿及松石、玛瑙、青玉等嵌饰。|在紫檀上加嵌，以折梅图入画，此盒当得了文房佳器之誉。|梅花在以“九品九命”等级制品评花卉的体系中，居一品九命，历来为隆冬早春时期插花之首选，明代袁宏道在《瓶史》中叙述他的四时之花时即说：“入春为梅，为海棠”。因此，日暮天寒，踏雪寻梅，在文人雅士眼中亦为一种情致。张岱的《夜航船》里记载，孟浩然情怀旷达，常冒雪骑驴寻梅，曰：“吾诗思在灞桥风雪中驴背上。”若寻得好枝，折取返家，正好“一枝蚤落诗人手，无恨春风入胆瓶”，既涨了诗性，又添了清供。
