说明：砚式正方，取材歙石，鱼子坑，石色黝黑，石质细腻润泽，砚体伟岸，古朴厚重，制作精良。砚堂为正方形，外环井字形石渠，以环点和圆点排列，内围是二、三、五、五，中间是一、二、三、四，外围乃六、七、八、九，象征节气时令。饰锦地回纹，雕工精湛。砚背浅开方形覆手，故宫藏一方“清乾隆歙石井字砚”与本品及其相似，可资比较。
