|界格内饰十二地支铭文，界格外八枚菱花乳钉和博局纹将主区分为四方八区。|青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武四神不似常见规矩镜分列于内区四方，而以头尾相接的形式盘于镜缘。如穷奇、狌狌、獬豸、兕等异兽则取而代之，或俯首探寻，或回首顾盼，一盛装女子投喂其一。|此镜版工精湛，线条流畅，纹饰独特，尤为罕见。||穷奇西北有兽焉，状似虎，有翼能飞，便剿食人，知人言语|《神异经·西北荒经》|狌狌有兽焉，其状如禺而白耳，伏行人走，其名曰狌々，食之善走。|《山海经》|獬豸见人斗，则触不直者；闻人论，则咋不正者|《异物志》|兕兕在舜葬东，湘水南，其状如牛，苍黑，一角。|《海内南经》
