拍品造型、纹饰及工艺与香港苏富比1983年春拍第612号清乾隆珊瑚红地描金五蝠捧寿纹六方花盆相同，为乾隆朝华美之作，纹饰繁缛，气息奢华。此件拍品虽不落款，但从其制式来看，以其瓷品而论，当属乾隆官窑无疑。拍品造型别致，呈六方形，内壁及器底施松石绿釉，釉面均匀细腻；外壁以珊瑚红地描金绘制纹饰，华丽端庄，极具美感。口沿侧面绘连珠纹，颈部祥云缭绕，下绘蕉叶纹，肩饰如意云头纹一週，如意足描金。腹部主体纹饰为六组五蝠捧寿图案，寓意吉祥。整器金彩保存完好，更显珍贵。“蝠”与“福”同音，以蝙蝠为主体图案的纹饰因其美好的兆寓，清代瓷器装饰上经常以五蝠与寿字组合，寓意“五蝠捧寿”，吉祥如意。
