观音亦称为观世音，其意是能够观察世间一切声音，是西方极乐世界教主阿弥陀佛坐下的上首菩萨，作为“西方三圣”之一，与大势至菩萨一起随侍在阿弥陀佛身边，观音传入中国后演化为象征慈母之爱，具有“大慈大悲救苦救难观世音”之称，在民间极受爱戴。此观音白玉制，洁净无暇，莹润光泽，玉质佳好。采用立体圆雕、阴刻等技法雕刻，观音面容慈善安详，面部较为丰满，头戴风帽，髮髻上疏，衣着宽松，衣纹流畅。右手捧净瓶，整体雕工精湛，人物栩栩如生。 观音配硬木背光、莲座
