此簠是清代的金属器，口为回纹，腹云纹，束黻纹，足星云纹，两耳附以夔凤，周身铜色包浆莹润，微微发黄，乃是宫廷铸造铜器所用之上等好铜，故而分量颇为坠手。底款落“大清乾隆年制”六字篆书款，隽永古拙，气势磅礴，极具官器法度。乾隆皇帝是一个很有眼光的鉴赏家和收藏家，他既崇尚复古，亦勇于创新。内府所藏殷、周、汉的古青铜器甚多，对喜欢的会用各类材质加以仿造，如玉器、瓷器等，并加入他自己创新的元素。参阅：浙江钱塘拍卖2010春季拍卖Lot0011号 清乾隆 铜象耳簋式炉 成交价：134万
