Copper-red under-glazed fish bowl, porcelain, round shaped bowl gently curved inwards to the lipped rim, exterior body decorated with two five-claw flying dragons chasing flaming pearl on a white background. Dragons ferociously striding amidst clouds above roaring waves. Blue double lines appearing on mouth and foot rims, with Six-character Kangxi reign mark on base, with hardwood stand, 17" dia x 12" h, 23 1/2" h (with stand).
Reference: Exhibition of similar bowl in the Palace Museum of Beijing.
