A Chinese metal snuff bottle inset with a jade butterfly plaque with a wooden stand. Dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle has a metal lid and spoon.
Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Levin. Mr. Levin was the US Consul General to Hong Kong in the 1980s, and later served as the US Ambassador to Burma from 1987 to 1990.
