圈椅，起源于五代十国时期，由交椅发展而来。从它弧弯的搭脑可以看出圈椅亦有唐代月牙凳的身影，是交椅、月牙凳与凭几的结合体。经宋至明隆庆、万历年间，圈椅已基本定型。椅圈为圆，象征天，取意天圆；坐面为方，象征地，取意地方；人端坐其中，代表天地人三才合一，寓意人从容于天地之间。此款蝠磬纹圈椅，是清早期明式家具。雍正时期摆放在坤宁宫，椅圈五接，扶手曲致圆润，背板无拼接，上部雕刻福磬纹有余，下部雕刻十字如意锦结，寓意万事如意，事事顺，路路通，财源不断头。冰盘沿线脚，攒框镶芯板，面下无束腰，下承罗锅枨，如意卡花。此三件套可摆放于书房、客厅、茶室等空间，舒适、简洁、大方。
