坐褥呈倭角长方形，装饰区域大致以中间界栏为界，分为内外两部分。坐褥明黄缎地，其上通体施绣，内外围皆满绣缠枝西番莲纹。西番莲的枝叶以深浅不一的蓝色绣线绣制，缠枝莲中绣以口衔“卍”字的蝙蝠以及八吉祥纹饰。坐褥最中间一块装饰略呈圆形，体型较大，居中为一朵俯视的西番莲，并由六朵西番莲环绕，外圈由红蝠拱卫。整个坐褥绣工精巧，装饰纹样虽然简单，却能不拘常俗，独出机杼，显示出较高的审美意趣。色用明黄，做工考究，当是出自宫廷无疑。参阅： 美国明尼苏达州博物馆 “IMPERIAL SILKS”第二集 图408
