|风格：西藏|香筒是古代净化空气的一种室内用具，一般是直接将特制的香料或是香花点燃后放入香筒内，香气便从筒壁、筒盖的气孔中溢出，是古代富贵人家必不可少的生活实用品。同时，由于香筒的制作考究、工艺精湛，又是一种清雅的室内陈设品。内地香筒多以白玉、竹木为材质，这只香筒以天铁为材质，富有藏地特色。香筒颈部饰回字纹，筒身饰缠枝花纹，鋑金鋑银，交相辉映。錽金银是藏区比较多见的一种工艺，通俗来说就是对错金银技术的一种简化。虽没有错金银牢固，但所用材质不减分毫，可见这只香筒在当初也是高等寺庙所用之物，能够流传至今，实属难得。
