取材上品紫檀木，牛毛纹细密，色泽深沉，古朴华丽。案面攒框镶板，桌面下接束腰，比例运城，牙条光素平直，其下以霸王枨勾挂榫接方材直腿，腿内侧起灯草线，下承内翻马蹄足。俊秀雅逸，简练空灵。霸王枨因其力顶千斤似霸王举鼎而成名，但其安装位置确很隐蔽，一般都藏在牙板或花边后边，既能装饰线条，又是极有内涵的构件。
