此件拍品圆口，折腰，平底，圈足，足心落“大清光绪年制”款，外壁绘斗彩花卉纹饰，近足处为灵芝纹，内壁为暗八仙，暗八仙即葫芦、团扇、宝剑、莲花、花篮、鱼鼓、横笛、阴阳板。因其只采用八仙所执器物，而不直接出现本尊，故称“暗八仙”。暗八仙也叫“道家八宝”，既有吉祥的寓意，也能代表万能的仙术。斗彩是一种釉上彩与釉下彩相结合的釉色品种，要先用釉下彩绘画图案，烧成后之后再用釉上彩填涂，工艺流程较为复杂，是当时较为高级的彩瓷类别
