|阿弥陀佛是净土信仰中西方极乐世界的主佛，在五方佛系统中是莲花部的部主，代表贪的净治与妙观察智。其主要特征是身着袈裟，双手结禅定印，跏趺而坐。此尊螺发排列规整，肉髻圆隆高凸，顶饰摩尼宝珠。额宽颐丰，眉若新月，眼睑低垂，目光下敛，双目宛若未开敷的莲花苞，俯视着芸芸众生。嘴角上翘，面含笑意，仪态端庄。此像形体丰硕，造型端庄严整，胎体厚重敦实，比例舒展匀称，雍容华美。
